Trucks: GMC truck is tested by time

GMC truck is the initial vehicle type GMC produced. These big and reliable vehicles attracted large crowds when they were introduced at the New York International Auto Show. They were made in order to allow people to haul loads of cargo without a great deal of difficulty. A GMC truck is also designed to conquer rough terrains and even steep climbs. In fact, an advertisement in 1919 showed a photo of a GMC truck climbing a steep terrain. After the climb, the GMC truck in question was still in excellent condition.

GMC truck models became a popular as well as reliable vehicle especially when the American government saw their potential and used 600,000 trucks for the U.S. Military during the Second World War. By the year 1943, the company took over a bus manufacturer based in Chicago, Illinois and produced buses for public transport.
