From the web comics?adventure, Jeep introduces a new level of online escapades. The strategy is aimed at targeting the generation Y drivers, which is continuously increasing in number in today's time.
Jeep is taking all-new Patriot compact sport utility vehicle in an online interactive film titled The Way Beyond Trail.
In February, Jeep launched an online campaign with Marvel Comics that called on consumers to participate by submitting dialogue for a Web comic story featuring four characters and a Jeep Patriot. This month, the automaker wanted to do more.
Jeep, a brand of the Chrysler Group, is rolling out the online film at www.patriotadventure.com. In the said film, viewers are allowed to join three characters as they go on a search for a buried treasure. The characters also star in two 30-second television spots of the Chrysler Group. The film and commercials launch this Thursday as part of the brand's overall national marketing campaign called choose Your Adventure?which plays on Jeep's powerful off-road attributes.

The Patriot is targeted at the 23- to 30-year-old active crowd, said Jay Kuhnie, the director of Jeep communication.
The Patriot and its sibling Compass use the DaimlerChrysler/Mitsubishi GS platform. The Jeep Patriot is equipped with a four-cylinder 2.4 L GEMA gasoline engine and a 2.0 L Volkswagen-designed diesel engine mated to a Bestop Jeep, for the Australian and European markets. The base Patriot features front-wheel drive however two electronically-controlled four-wheel drive systems are made optional.
The Jeep Patriot's Freedom Drive I is a full-time system for on-road use. The Freedom Drive II, on the other hand, is made for off-road use. The latter comes with a variable torque between speeds of 25 and 65 mph for superb handling. The Jeep Patriot Freedom Drive II Patriot features continuously variable transmission with a low range instead of the usual two-speed transfer case.
